Regional Industry Conclave-2024 (Jabalpur)
The event marked a significant milestone in Madhya Pradesh’s industrial development, attracting over 4,000 stakeholders, including industrialists, industry associations, bureaucrats, and foreign delegates. Inaugurated by Dr. Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister, Madhya Pradesh, alongside other key ministers, the conclave highlighted investment opportunities in sectors such as Textile & Garments, Defence, Agriculture, food & dairy processing and Tourism. Key session featured insights from industry leaders like Mr. Joydeep Mukherjee (Heidelberg Cement) and Mr. Vinod Agarwal (VE Commercial Vehicles). Significant developments included the virtual inauguration of 67 industrial units, expected to bring investments of ₹1,530 crore and create 4,342 jobs.Letters of intent were issued for land allotments totaling 340 acres, aimed at generating ₹1,800 crore in investments and 12,000 jobs.
The conclave also saw a notable MoU between Ashok Leyland and Armoured Vehicle Nigam Ltd. for a ₹600 crore investment. Support for startups under the Jabalpur Smart City initiative was announced, reinforcing the government’s commitment to fostering innovation and growth.
