Regional Industry Conclave-2024 (Gwalior)
The 3rd edition of the Regional Industry Conclave was organized in Gwalior. The objective was to encourage investment in the state, establish contact with potential investors, and publicize the immense investment possibilities available in the state.
The 3rd edition of Regional Industry Conclave was successfully held on 28th August 2024 at Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Agricultural University in Gwalior. The event aimed to promote balanced and equitable development across Madhya Pradesh by fostering industrial growth and generating local employment opportunities.
Over 4,000 attendees participated, including 15 international delegates from countries like Canada, Netherlands, Togo, Zambia, Mexico, and Costa Rica, as well as investors from more than 15 Indian states. Key sectors represented included tourism, IT, footwear, agriculture, and food processing. Presentations were delivered by five departments: Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion, MSME, Mineral Resources, Tourism, and Science & Technology. Notable speakers such as Shri Raghwendra Kumar Singh, Mr. Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Dr. Navneet Kothari, Mr. Sanjay Shukla, and Mr. Sanjay Dubey highlighted recent developments and investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh. Industrialists like Mr. Karan Adani, Mr. Vivek Taneja, and Mr. Puneet Dawar shared their investment plans and experiences.
More than 20 key industrialists and industry organizations had one-to-one meetings with Honble Chief Minister.
Sectoral sessions focused on MSMEs, exports, ODOP, footwear, tourism, higher education, skill development, and startups. Over 400 buyer-seller meetings were conducted, showcasing the industrial potential of the Gwalior-Chambal region and paving the way for significant growth and development. This event serves as a precursor to the ‘Global Investors Summit 2025’ scheduled for 7-8 February 2025.
