Regional Industry Conclave – Rewa
The 5th edition of the Regional Industry Conclave is scheduled to take place in Rewa. Its objective is to unlock the hidden potential of the Vindhya region and address disparities in industrial growth across various areas.
By showcasing the industrial strengths of the region, the conclave aims to attract investment opportunities and serve as a platform for meaningful discussions among government officials, industry leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs, fostering collaboration and growth across diverse sectors.
Regional Industry Conclave- Rewa was successfully held at the Krishna Raj Kapoor Auditorium in Rewa. This significant event saw the participation of over 4,000 individuals, including more than 3,000 MSME participants. The focus was on investment in key sectors such as renewable energy, mining, agriculture, dairy and food processing, tourism, and rural and cottage industries.
The conclave featured a series of presentations by various departments, highlighting the diverse investment opportunities available in Madhya Pradesh. Key industrialists addressed the gathering, sharing their insights on the state’s industrial landscape and growth prospects. Notable speakers included Mr. H.K. Tripathi, President of Reliance Bio Energy; Mr. Naresh Goyal, CMD of Rama Group; Mr. Bhimsi Kachot from Adani Group; Acharya Balkrishna, MD of Patanjali Group; and Mr. Puneet Dalmia, CMD of Dalmia Group.
Honorable Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav outlined the government’s vision and initiatives to promote investment, innovation, and sustainable development in the state. He virtually inaugurated the IT Park Rewa, a power substation in Churkhata Industrial Area, and 21 industry-related establishments. These establishments are expected to bring in proposed investments of over ₹2,680 crores and create employment for more than 1,830 individuals. Additionally, 85 units were allotted land allocation letters, covering 146 acres, which is expected to attract over ₹918 crores in capital investment and create 3,350 jobs.
The conclave also featured a roundtable session on renewable energy and four sectoral sessions focusing on opportunities in MSMEs and startups, the mining sector, the tourism sector, and rural and cottage industries. More than 20 investors held one-on-one meetings with the Honorable Chief Minister.
The event also included a buyer-seller meeting with over 300 meetings, providing a platform for local entrepreneurs and businesses to showcase their products and services. A business promotion center with exhibition stalls from more than 16 trade associations and government departments facilitated dialogue and encouraged business opportunities between various government and private institutions.
This event attracted investments worth ₹30,814 crores across various sectors, potentially creating 27,645 employment opportunities. Regional Industry Conclave in Rewa played a significant role in advancing GIS, providing a crucial platform for investors and local entrepreneurs to come together and shape the future of the region and the State.
